Monster Hunter World, a new beginning
Monster Hunter World review:
I remember going to get what would become my favorite game until now and finding an extra disc, not from behind the scenes or any soundtrack, but something quite recurrent from those times, a demo.
Today, I look back and realize that I won not just one series of choice, but two.
The connection I have with Monster Hunter is thus distant, valuing its slow and penalizing gameplay, associated with a systematic grind that continues to entice me until today. 13 years with a formula that in Japan will never have let Capcom look bad, a franchise that until the World iteration many had discarded in the west, either because of the platform it was on, or because of the uninviting gameplay. The world is thus a bet that intends to globalize the franchise, allowing it to have the same success that it has always had in the country of the rising sun, a bet that proved to be right.
Our adventure begins after the creation of the character and respective faithful four-legged companion, Palico, this time through a character creation filled with options for all tastes, even for the little feline. The beginning resembles that of Monster Hunter 4, placing us on top of a gigantic dragon, an impactful encounter for new players that sets the tone for what they will encounter from then on.
