Playstation 5 price has been revealed
The price of the PlayStation 5 has been reportedly revealed and, if you're right, it will be cheaper than everyone imagined. According to Canadian retail store Play N Trade (via Notebookcheck), the PS5 will cost $ 400 (approximately $ 2,082 excluding tax). That is, according to this information, the next generation console from Sony will cost the same as the PS4 cost at launch in 2013.
Most analysts have made predictions that put a price of $ 500 (R $ 2,602.50) for the PS5, so if Sony actually launches it for the amount stated by the Canadian store, it will be costing less than expected, a great way to generate hype and interest from consumers.
It may be that this rumor is just a store strategy to get pre-orders for the console. After all, we need to remember that the PS5 has many expensive parts and that competition for them has increased a lot with the interruption of production due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Another fact that can lead to proving that this is just a rumor is that it is not clear how the Canadian retail store knows exactly the price of the console when it is clear that Sony has not yet released this type of information to stores. In addition, if the company had revealed the price, it would probably be for much larger stores, such as Amazon or Walmart.
So, all we have left is to wait for more details about the PlayStation 5, which is yet to be released later this year, but with no confirmed date.
